Finalists for the Heavy Lift Awards 2024 in the Excellence in Safety & Training

We are honoured to be nominated as finalists for the Heavy Lift Awards 2024 in the Excellence in Safety & Training category for our work on the Basrah Refinery project in Iraq. The project prioritised safety through a comprehensive training program for all personnel on-site, with a total of 202 personnel receiving 948 training sessions on various topics from defensive driving to working at height to specialised proficiency training related to their job role. CJ ICM’s 390,000 man*hours LTI-free efforts were recognised and awarded by the Client, for significant contribution to the Project’s overall achievement of safe man-hours worked without a lost workday case. We were honoured to receive this award three times consecutively, highlighting our consistent dedication to safety and excellence. We are honored to be nominated for the Heavy Lift 2024 Excellence in Engineering award for our pivotal contribution to the Basrah Refinery Upgrading Project in Iraq. This project, aimed at boosting processing capacity, showcases our commitment to engineering excellence and innovation. Each heavy cargo had unique transport requirements, so engineers considered load-bearing capacities, stability, maneuverability, and other factors for trailer configurations from the port berth to the job site, using various equipment such as SPMT, PST, K25, and Modular Hydraulic Trailers. Transporting the largest loads in Iraq involved multiple route surveys and detailed civil work planning with local authorities for the 100-kilometer route from port to site. This nomination is a testament to our team's dedication and hard work. CJ ICM Logistics successfully transported commercial vessels for the General Company for Port of Iraq

CJ ICM Logistics successfully transported commercial vessels for the General Company for Port of Iraq. The journey from Izmit, Turkey, to Umm Qasr, Iraq, navigated the Cape of Good Hope due to current conflicts restricting the Suez Canal route. The project included building cradles, lifting, lashing, and seamless sea transportation.
